Mardi Gras is a time here in Mobile Alabama for merriment and fun! Beads and Moonpies and Parades and Balls with tuxedos and beautiful gowns. And humans who have no sense of what day it is, and it’s possible what year as well. Since that woman is so preoccupied, and did promise to help (and shamefully did not), she is sitting in time out while I, Zed Monster, bring you a late Bad Kitty Festival. It is going to be chaos around here for a few weeks, as I have heard rumors we will be moving soon. That woman, if she even dares, will have to share the details. But let us not worry on trivial matters, when what is important has to do with Cats and only Kitty Cats! Shall we?

Well, I, Zed Monster was hoping it would be Pitr Pats, but that woman has not bothered to replenish my stock this week so beads will have to do! The felines have been instructed we are not allowed to have Moonpies or even a taste of King Cake. Such a shame the Krewes don’t toss out cat nip and mice. But alas, let us find out what is happening in the Chaos Parade…

“They Smell Strange Woman”
Susan speaks about our Feline sense of smell. Troi, her kitty cat, obviously has shown what The Offended Sniff means. And we cats were trying to keep this a secret. At Logical Expressions Blog you can find out what we cats are doing when we make “that face” that cause laughter from that woman. It serves a purpose and how dare she laugh now.
Karen doesn’t seem to get the fact that Finnegan the Coon Cat demands attention and will do anything to get it! She is heard to say Will You Pulleeease Get Off the Computer over at Karen Shanley’s Blog. Did she finally give up and bend her will, as she should, to Finnegan? Karen desires a life before home computers, but where would we cat blogging cats be?
Mz Mog shares with us Thursday Thirteen About Bazel over at Mind of Mog. We admit, we did not know about Bazel liking it so dark outside, but it stands to reason, the object would be to have an advantage on all prey. Such as Coax and all forms or fabric. If hunting or chewing doesn’t work for Bazel, the “lie in dirt and roll on clean laundry” certainly causes Mama to scream Adoption Is An Option!
Mz. Mog proves her desire for adoption options in Them. Jezi and Bazel look so cuddly and cute in all the clean clothes, how could they be causing any trouble at all? We think someone really doesn’t want to have her babies leave over at Mind of Mog.
Mz. Debra allows a Feline Service Announcement in Boo says GO RED over at MANX MNEWS. We happen to agree, our hearts need tender love and care and we all should show our support by wearing my favorite color Red all month in February. And Boo also shares some good news from the Mama’s Vet! Way to Go Debra! Purrs and Headbumps!
R-Kat has a rare moment in FRIDAY CATBLOGGING!!! (It's been far too long…). Smudgie and Pixel find a magical moment to cuddle on a great quilt together and we are favored by being allowed to share this beautiful image from CatHouse Chat. By the looks of this picture you would not know these beautiful kitty cats were not interested in snuggle time together. Any day is a good day to shock the humans!
“And They Taste Even Worse”
Mz. Mog manages to get some great belly pictures of Meowza in Tummy Tuesday #77. Careful not to get the white tummy dirty, Meowza opts for rolling backside in the dirt over at Mind of Mog. Of course until Meowza figures out someone is intruding on such bliss. Hey, if the Mama would do the scritching with a handful of cool dirt to boot, that would be great!
Andree shares with us holy cats and some bad as well this weeks LOL Cat Bible: Lectionary Readings for the Last Sunday After Epiphany over at meeyauw! “LOL Cat Bible is on Facebook now! And remember: Kiss teh Kitteh, or he getz mad and pwnz u, when he iz just a little mad. Iz gud for everybody 2 trust kitteh.” I do believe this is good advice, and good for repenting from that woman who shall be named, Megan. Kisses just might help. For those kitty cats who have indulged a bit in this Mardi Gras season, it is advisable to keep up on the weekly readings.
SBPoet has letters for Ask The AgonyCats in Que. However the stenographer has been under the weather and not allowing dictation from Boo and Spike. We all should head over to Friday Cat Blogging and send many letters and questions to possibly motivate the human over at Watermark to help these kitty cats out. I have a few issues I certainly will be sending off for advice, one being demon spawn kittens and how to remove them from Bad Kitty Land. Drop a line in and get all your kitty troubles fixed!
Sleeping Mommy may need to Ask the AgonyCats about A Couple of Mooches but as a feline advocate, I do believe The Freeloader and Sara Blue look very comfortable and at home. We have heard they are about to catch up with us, however at last count we think The Crewe At Sleeping Mommy has passed us up in numbers. And who would not want such a manly handsome kitty cat around, like the Ginger baby who is very friendly? She is attached, we know it.

“What Do We Do With These Now?”
Gypsy & Tasha are relaxing, ummm we think over in Gypsy & Tasha - Easy Like Sunday?!? It appears there is a Ghost Kitty Gypsy in one shot, but we think the latter looks best. Naps and Nips and Posing for the camera, Gypsy is the way to go over at Gypsy & Tasha - Kaz’s Cats. We do think all the excitement is wearing us out, watching that fast action. What a quick kitty cat. The question remains however, what was being chased. Is this a new Mystery?
Mom Robyn shows us what Sanjee will be doing on Sooper Bowl Sunday while Pepi goes to visit the exclusive M-Cat Club. Over at House of the (Mostly) Black Cats, Sanjee is quoted as saying, “I don’t get this sooper bowl thing.” We agree Sanjee, and think maybe they should for one day allow girls to visit the club and find out what the fuss is all about. Wait, what am I saying? Please stay home and play with your mice. It’s boys only! But I will send a nose kiss your way!
Mz. Pet has a squirt gun and it isn’t being used on MissLoli, that WOOFIE, over at Pet’s Garden Blog. It seems that SirWoody and Tigger like the D-O-G but SonnyBob is not so fond and is being called a Bengal Bully and taking the fire of water. Have no fear SonnyBob will have that critter that claims to be staying brought into submission very quickly. We suggest hypnotize the D-O-G and the Mama. That way you will not be squirted. Blame the D-O-G at all costs.
Diamond Emerald-Eyes who so graciously presented me with an award I shall post about later, shares with us Myth Monday: Mardi Gras over at the fabulous Diamond’s Lair. I shall admit, I am ever impressed at the knowledge Diamond shares with us about the history of Mardi Gras, and the great photographs too! For three weeks now, my home town of Mobile has been one big party. That woman will not be celebrating Fat Tuesday downtown with the parades since I have her in time out still. Maybe next year I, Zed Monster, shall invite Diamond and all the Bad Kitty Friends to a celebration here. Maybe Diamond would be the MC?? For now, we can get a great glance at some of the costumes worn as in example by Diamond. Beautiful!
Sher shows us a glamor shot of Upsie at What Did You Eat? this weekend. It appears the mailman knows where to get some great food in the mail in WCB: Fish Tales. Upsie, we think you are most beautiful, and the humans should consider mealtimes a no flash moment. Of course Pumpkin doesn’t seem to mind the pictures. I think any day I, Zed Monster, would share a Sardine Pizza with Upsie. 1-800-UpsieBabe, yes the number in memorized!
Mz. Mog always has such great photographs of the fur babies and Izzy is no exception. On Caturday we find a great use for the not-pooh-box over at iInfidel. Why use that container when there is an entire yard to mess up and hopefully have the fun of laughing at unsuspecting humans who don’t watch their step? Just walk on by Izzy, walk on by…
Mz. Mog manages to get some shots of Caturday Play at iMeowza. Our friend Cece with the fluffy tail decided to pay a visit and with Meowza and enjoy the beautiful weather. We are impressed that Izzy did not even hiss at Cece, or use the claws of death. Maybe Cece is already a surrogate child here Mz. Mog? More kitty cats the better we always say.
